Vietnam Visa Requirements for Latvian Passport Holders

Latvian citizens are required to obtain a visa to visit Vietnam for both tourism and business purposes. To apply for a visa, the following conditions must be met:

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam.
• Your passport must have at least 2 blank pages for visa stickers and immigration stamps.

Visa Options for Latvian Citizens:

1. Vietnam Visa on Arrival (Landing Visa):
   This is a popular and convenient option due to its simplicity, affordability, and time-saving process. Latvian citizens with a visa on arrival can enter Vietnam via major international airports such as Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Saigon), Da Nang, Cam Ranh (Nha Trang), and Cai Bi (Hai Phong). To apply for this type of visa, an online application for an Approval Letter is required. The visa will be stamped upon arrival at any of these airports.

   Note: Visa on arrival is not available for land or sea entries.

2. Applying for a Vietnam Visa through an Embassy/Consulate:
   Currently, there is no Vietnamese Embassy in Latvia. Latvian citizens can apply for a Vietnam visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in another country. Contact the nearest Vietnamese embassy for details about visa procedures, fees, and required documents.
