Vietnam Visa Requirements for Malaysian Passport Holders
Malaysian passport holders are not required to obtain a visa for stays of up to 30 days in Vietnam. You are exempt from the Vietnam visa requirement for 30 days for each entry.
If you wish to stay longer, you must apply for a valid Vietnamese visa. The following requirements must be met:
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Vietnam.
- Your passport must contain at least 2 blank pages for visa stickers and immigration stamps.

Vietnam Visa on Arrival (Landing Visa):
This option is popular due to its convenience, simplicity, low cost, and time-saving benefits. Malaysian citizens with Vietnam visas can enter Vietnam via any international airports, including Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Saigon), Da Nang, Cam Ranh (Nha Trang), and Cai Bi (Hai Phong). To use this option, visitors are required to apply online to obtain an Approval Letter, and they will receive official stamps upon arrival at any Vietnam International Airport.Note: Visa on arrival is not applicable for sea or land entries.

Applying for a Vietnam Visa through the Embassy:
