Table Of Contents

Vietnam visa is not required for Singaporean passport holders for stays of up to 30 days in Vietnam (you are visa-exempt for 30 days for each entry).

If you wish to stay longer, you will need to apply for a visa. The following requirements must be met for a valid Vietnamese visa:

    • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Vietnam.
    • Your passport must have at least 2 blank pages for the visa sticker and immigration stamps.

Option 1: Vietnam Visa on Arrival (Landing Visa)

This option is popular due to its convenience, simplicity, affordability, and timesaving process. Singaporean citizens with a Vietnam visa can enter through any international airports such as:

    • Noi Bai (Hanoi)
    • Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City)
    • Da Nang
    • Cam Ranh (Nha Trang)
    • Cat Bi (Hai Phong)

To obtain this visa, visitors must apply online for an Approval Letter, which they will need to present upon arrival at any international airport in Vietnam to receive the official visa stamp.

Note: Visa on Arrival is NOT applicable for those entering Vietnam via sea or land borders.

Option 2: Vietnam Visa via Embassy/Consulate

Singaporean passport holders can also apply for a Vietnam visa through the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore or other countries. To proceed, please contact the embassy directly for further details on visa procedures, fees, and required paperwork.
