Tanzanian citizens wishing to enter Vietnam are REQUIRED to apply for a valid Vietnamese visa for tourism and business purposes. The following requirements must be met:
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival in Vietnam.
- Your passport must contain at least 2 blank pages for the visa sticker and immigration stamps.
Option 1: Vietnam Visa on Arrival (Landing Visa)
This visa option is popular due to its convenience, simplicity, low cost, and time-saving benefits. Tanzanian citizens with a Vietnam visa can enter through any of the following international airports:
- Noi Bai (Hanoi)
- Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City)
- Da Nang
- Cam Ranh (Nha Trang)
- Cat Bi (Hai Phong)
To obtain this visa, visitors are required to apply online for an Approval Letter, which they must present upon arrival at any international airport in Vietnam to receive the official visa stamp.
Note: The Vietnam visa on arrival is NOT applicable for travelers entering Vietnam via sea or land borders.
Option 2: Vietnam Visa via Embassy
Tanzanian passport holders can also apply for a Vietnam visa through the Vietnamese Embassy in Tanzania or in another country. For details on visa procedures, fees, and necessary paperwork, please contact the embassy.
