VIETNAM TOURIST VISA
To enter Vietnam for tourism purposes, your Tuvaluan passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date in Vietnam, and your passport must have 2 blank pages for the visa stamp.
The first option to obtain a valid Vietnam tourist visa for a Tuvaluan citizen is the Vietnam visa on arrival (landing visa). This type of visa is popular due to its convenience, simplicity, low cost, and time-saving process.
Tuvaluan citizens with Vietnam visas are allowed to enter Vietnam via any international airports such as:
- Noi Bai (Hanoi)
- Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City)
- Da Nang
- Cam Ranh (Nha Trang)
- Cat Bi (Hai Phong)
With this option, visitors are required to apply online to obtain an Approval Letter, and they will receive official visa stamps upon arrival at any Vietnam international airport.
Note: The Vietnam tourist visa on arrival is NOT applicable to visitors entering Vietnam by sea or land borders.
VIETNAM BUSINESS VISA
In order to enter Vietnam for business purposes, Tuvaluan citizens must have a valid Vietnam business visa during their stay in Vietnam.
The first option to obtain a valid Vietnam business visa for Tuvaluan citizens is the Vietnam visa on arrival (landing visa), which is convenient, simple, affordable, and time-saving.
Tuvaluan citizens with Vietnam visas are allowed to enter Vietnam through any international airports such as:

- Da Nang
- Cam Ranh (Nha Trang)
- Cat Bi (Hai Phong)
With this option, visitors need to register online to receive a Visa Approval Letter before boarding, and then they will receive official visa stamps upon arrival at the international airport in Vietnam.
